Huge Improvements at Tooleybuc Sporting Club and that’s why we have been having record income, which allows us to reinvest into the Club.

The Tooleybuc Bistro

The Bistro is getting some real loving and care. Reopen under new management, the kitchen now has a new look and a fantastic new menu as well. We have purchased new chairs and added a beautiful wallpaper on the bistro wall showcasing the ring tree just outside of town. The main kitchen was renovated, and a new counter and salad bar was added. We also purchased 4 new large TV screens to display our new Aussie menu. New carpet will be installed on Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th of May, and the Bistro toilets are just days away from being finished to match the previously renovated Sport Suite toilets. We are also in the process of renovating the old bistro bar so expect some updates about that over the next few weeks.

Poon Boon Room

The Poon Boon Room is now completely finished and looking wonderful. We have already held multiple functions in it, including private bookings, presentations and our recent Mother’s Day ‘A La Catre’ Lunch was a hit. The Poon Boon Room is suitable for all bookings, conferences and celebrations, and can seat up to 80 people. Our staff will work with you to create an occasion suited to you and provide decorating, catering, activities for your event.

More Upgrades Coming Soon

We have been very busy with all the renovations and upgrades to our Club recently. The improvements look great and we have a few more upcoming projects to positively impact our club. Even something as little as chairs can make a huge difference. The Club has purchased 20 new cafe lounge chairs for the cafe area, and we hope for them to arrive mid-June – wow do they look comfy! The Auditorium is not missing out, we have ordered 140 new banquet chairs, also to arrive in June. The chairs will match the new chairs in the Bistro and Poon Boon Room.
The toilets in the gaming area are the final step of the refurbishment plan. Renovations will commence at the end of May and are planned to be finished by the end of August.
The sporting facilities upgrades have also commenced. The tennis court and basketball court are currently undergoing refurbishment and will be repainted. The Golf Course is improving everyday thanks to Greg, Shane & Jack, the greens look fantastic and we have recently purchased 2 more golf carts to add to the course! We now have 14 electric golf buggies available for hire.
On June 14th, 2026, your Board will have it’s Annual Strategic Planning Meeting to decide what’s next.
We can only say that our progress over recent times have been sensational and adds huge value to the community we live in.
