Progress & Improvements on the course!
At Tooleybuc Sporting Club, we are constantly striving to improve the golfing experience for both our current members and new visitors. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a world-class facility, we’ve recently completed several important upgrades to the course.
In October 2024, we welcomed our newest team member Greg Coyne. Greg has recently taken over the role of Greenskeeper at the club and we have already noticed significant improvements on the golf course.
One of the most significant upgrades to our course is the upcoming installation of a new automated irrigation system. Vice Chairman, Dennis Moon, Greg and Living Turf are currently planning this cutting-edge technology to be functional by the end of the year. The Club has allocated $40,000 to this improvement to ensure that our greens, fairways, and tees receive optimal hydration.
As part of our course improvements, we’ve also reworked the bunkers across the course, along with getting the 9th tee ready for the Veteran’s Golf Tournament held on December 10th 2024. Updating the bunker designs enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the sand traps, with improved drainage and reshaped edges. The updated bunkers add a level of challenge and strategic thinking for golfers at all levels.
