River Retreat Accommodation
We appreciate your time to review and understand our check-in and check-out times and policies.

Property and Cancellation Policies:
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should you decide cancel:
- giving more than 7 days in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded 100%.
- if less than 7 days, we will process one nights accommodation per room booked.
- for bookings for more than seven (7) nights that are cancelled less than seven (7) days prior to arrival will incur a charge of two (2) nights rental.
CREDIT CARDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
With the exception of AMEX we accept on-line payment deposit of one (1) night accommodation via PayPal on our payment gate way on this site to confirm your booking.
Accommodation must be paid in full on arrival (cash, card or eftpos)
RESERVATION FIXED PRICE POLICY
Our room rates are fixed at the price offered on our web-site once the deposit has been received and confirmed.
CANCELLATION POLICY NON-REFUNDABLE RATES
The total price of the reservation will be charged if the offer advertised is stated as being non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to circumstances beyond our control.
CHECK -IN/CHECK-OUT
Check in for the Tooleybuc River Retreat Villas is at Reception at the Tooleybuc Sporting Club (located some 600m away from the Villas on Lockhart Rd) from 14.00rs to 21.00hrs daily.
After 9.00pm check in can be arranged in advance (prior to 5pm) by phoning (03) 5030 5476.
Check out time is 10.00am. Please make sure that you have turned off all appliances and leave the key inside the Villa on the kitchen table and lock the door behind you if one of our housekeeping staff are not at hand to farewell you.
DAMAGES / LEFT PROPERTY
Guests are financially responsible for any damage to the room or property. If you cause accidental damage to our property we would appreciate your immediate notification.
Lost or forgotten property will be retained for seven (7) days and thereafter discarded.
GUEST SAFETY POLICY
Our properties are subject to security patrols and monitoring which may be recorded.
The Tooleybuc River Retreat does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss of your property.
NUMBER OF GUESTS / VISITORS
The number of guests staying in the Villa must be advised prior to arrival.
Visitors are not permitted to be on the property between the hours of 9.00pm and 8.00am daily.
We specifically do not allow the use of our Villas as “Party Venues “or permit any illegal activities, this will cause immediate termination of your stay without refund.
Guests are asked to remove all food and beverages from the veranda after use so as not to attract unwanted wildlife.
MINIMUM AGE GUEST
Minimum Age to book accommodation is eighteen (18) years; photo identification may be required at the time of check-in
CHILDREN
Children of any age are welcome.
Children aged 13 years and above are charged at the adult rate if the number of guests exceeds in the villa exceeds four (4). The correct room rate prices and occupancy information was provided to you at the time of your booking.
KITCHEN and LAUNDRY APPLIANCES
We expect guests to leave the kitchen appliances and utensils in clean condition.
If you cause any accidental damage (burn or damage equipment) we would appreciate your immediate notification.
Damaged caused by misuse or neglect will be at the guests expense to repair or replace.
SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms. If and any evidence of smoking is found in the room, a $200 fine will be charged to your credit card.
PARKING
Sheltered parking is available on site is beside your villa.
There is off street parking available for your guests vehicle
The Tooleybuc River Retreat does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
PETS
Pets are most welcome here! We understand that pets love to go on holidays too!
To ensure that you enjoy your stay with all of our other guests, we must ensure that all pets owners take full responsibility for their pet and ensure they do not disturb other guests
You are required to ensure your pet meets the following conditions:
- While at the Villa, all pets must be kept on a leash or contained/ supervised at all times. Our area has an abundance native flora and fauna which we consider ourselves to be the custodians.
- As the owner of the dog or furry friend, you are responsible for ensuring no pet hair is left in the villa and ensuring toilet duties are carried out too!
- All dog owners, whether you have expressly agreed or not, assume all liability regarding your dog being on our premises and indemnify us against all and any damages, all or any claims or other suits that may arise as a result of your dog being anywhere in our property . All breaches of the above conditions could result in early departure and forfeiture of any refund.
EMERGENCIES
Doctors and Hospitals /Medical Emergencies – hospitals are located in Balranald, or closer at Swan Hill, VIC some 48 Km away.
A defibrillator device is located in the foyer of the club house as is a basic first aid kit.
Police – the nearest station in New South Wales (the state the Club is located) is in Balranald, or closer at Swan Hill, VIC 48 Km away
In all instances if you believe you or your property are in danger or there is a Medical Emergency Dial 000 to seek assistance
GENERAL INFORMATION – TOOLEYBUC SPORTING CLUB
Our club welcomes you to enjoy or facilities during your stay.
- The bar offers a full range of drinks as well as packaged beverages for take-away.
- The Cheeky Chopstick restaurant offers authentic Cantonese/Aussie style Asian fare as well as a limited selection of western style meals (steaks, fish & chips etc) and operates in the clubhouse 7 days per week from 12.00 -2.00pm then of an evening 6.00pm. Take away can be ordered but we’d enjoy your company in the Clubhouse!
- Our gaming offerings include the latest releases of poker machines, TAB, Keno as well as frequent special promotions offering impressive prizes.
